Progress Explorer and logging settings

Progress Explorer provides an interactive alternative for viewing and setting logging properties for AppServer agents, WebSpeed agents, WebSpeed Messengers, Web Services Adapter (WSA) applications, AIA, NameServer, and Unified Broker.

To access the AppServer properties (for example):
  1. Open Progress Explorer.

  2. Connect to localhost.

  3. Expand AppServer.

  4. Right-click asbroker1 and choose Properties from the pop-up menu.

  5. Expand Server and choose Logging Setting. The following dialog box appears:

    6. This view shows the defaults for the various logging settings.

    Note: You can use the mergeprop utility installed with OpenEdge to manually edit the ubroker.properties file. For information on using mergeprop, see OpenEdge Getting Started: Installation and Configuration .
